Online Advertising Project Manager (Remote Position)

Role (Overview of the Position)

  • Do you love creating, scaling, and analyzing online advertising? We have an amazing team of the best contracted Media Buyers on earth… We’re now looking for a rock star Project Manager to lead them! The goal of this role is to analyze and optimize paid traffic data, oversee the creative direction, ensure profitability, and keep our real estate marketing brand reputation squeaky-clean.

Results (Expected Accomplishments)

  • Direct all creative, including graphics and messaging

  • Oversee contracted Facebook, YouTube, Google Ad, and Pinterest Ad Managers to ensure that ad-spend, ROAS, and CPA is always in-line

  • Explore and test new traffic sources 

  • Maintain a happy, appreciated and respected brand reputation on the platforms

  • Exceed Advertising success KPI’s

Responsibilities (Tasks associated with the Role) 

  • Capture, analyze, and optimize KPI data daily

  • Oversee ad-spend volume and profitability

  • Help recruit and hire new media buyers (when needed) 

  • Oversee the planning, creation, optimization, and maintenance of all current and future advertising campaigns

  • Oversee contracted Facebook Ads Manager

  • Oversee contracted YouTube Ads Manager

  • Oversee contracted Google Ads Manager

  • Oversee contracted Pinterest Ads Manager

  • Oversee in-house Community Manager to ensure that all ad’ comments are regularly scrubbed, spam deleted, troll comments hidden, questions answered, and positive comments liked and thanked

  • Ensure high levels of production, efficiency, and quality from each member of your team. 

  • Meeting ad managers regularly, helping them meet weekly and monthly priorities and reporting back on performance

  • Report ad managers who may be struggling to hit prescribed goals to the appropriate Growth Director

  • Oversee the creation, optimization, and refreshing of all ads as needed

  • Work with our copywriter and graphic designer to create new ads, when needed

  • Work with the CEO to create new videos and photos, as directed by the Ads Managers who need them

  • Keep up with the ever-evolving ads landscape and best practices and guiding your team accordingly

  • Keep brand reputation squeaky clean

  • Deliver performance data in a clear and intuitive manner to the rest of the team

  • Work with the Project Managers of other departments to ensure a smooth operating relationship between departments

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

  • You are a media buying Master

  • You’re extremely tech-savvy

  • You have a mind for advertising and sales funnels

  • You’re an effective communicator, especially in writing

  • Your grammar and writing skills are top-notch

  • You have experience supporting online courses, coaching programs, or products

  • You have experience leading remote teams in a startup or tech environment

  • You are familiar with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and Pinterest Ads

  • You’re creative, design-focused, and stay on-brand

  • You love analyzing numbers

  • You love people and truly care about their success

  • You are extremely organized, delight in the details, and you don’t let little things slip through the cracks

  • You make it your mission to find ways to make other people happy

  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment

  • Your personal and professional relationships are incredibly important to you and you find great value in staying connected
